Ava A. Janikowski studied  Art and Architecture at the University of Gdansk, Poland. Her art studies were completed under Professor Anna Fisher of the Fine Arts Academy of Gdansk.

She has been pursuing her drawing and painting for the last twenty years.

Her commissioned work is in private collections in France, Great Britain and Canada.

Her work has only recently been available for Public Exhibitions.
Her paintings are inspired by personal experiences and channel memories, friends and travels. Vibrant and challenging at a deeply personal level, her art can often be considered abstract as it is often difficult to know what is real and what is imagined. Her use of media attempts to effortlessly transcend all spiritual dimensions to surprise and attract.

Her portraits go beyond physical or abstract; they are playful and inventive, providing an insight into the very soul of the subject.
